We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United
Paul Robinson is convinced that 19-year-old Leeds striker Sam Greenwood is set for more action in the Leeds first-team after a loan move to Swansea was blocked in the January transfer window.
High-flying Swansea made a late bid for Greenwood, as reported by Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath, but it was rejected with Marcelo Bielsa wanting to keep him at Leeds for the second half of the season.

Greenwood made his first-team debut for Leeds in the recent 3-0 loss to Crawley in the FA Cup.
Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said, “There’s a lot to be said for Championship experience.
“We’ve seen a lot of players go and get game time and play in the big boy’s league, so to speak, playing football where it matters.
“It’s not to say that Under-23s football doesn’t matter but there’s a lot more pressure and intensity in the Championship. That’s where players get valuable experience.
“Marcelo Bielsa obviously has plans for him at Leeds and you can only imagine it’s to give him game-time in the second half of the season.
“There’s obviously a reason he hasn’t let him go and I can’t believe that would be to watch him play for the Under-23s on Tuesday afternoon at Thorp Arch.
“I think that he’s looked at his injury list, looked at the potential games he’s got coming up and thought he can use him in the first team.
“There would be no reason not to let him go otherwise. If he had no plans for him why would he stop him going to a top Championship club like Swansea?
“Bielsa obviously has a reason to keep him at Leeds.”
Greenwood’s debut in the FA Cup didn’t exactly go to plan but we’ve got high hopes for the 19-year-old.
He’s scored six goals in 10 games for the Under-23s and helped fire Leeds 10 points clear at the top of the PL 2 table.
Leeds fans might be set to see more of him soon.
