Exclusive: Club Brugges could accept £30.1m + bonuses for Charles De Ketelaere as Leeds United push for transfer

Leeds United could seal the blockbuster signing of Club Brugges star Charles De Ketelaere for £30.1million plus bonuses, according to Alexandre Braeckman.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, the RTL Sports journalist shared that Brugges are set to analyse every offer that comes their way this summer.

It is shared that the Belgian champions are still trying to convince De Ketelaere to stay for one more season as their aim ambition, with Leeds one of many clubs trying to change that..

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Braeckman reported how Leeds could get a deal over the line for the Belgian superstar this summer.

“Bruges is still trying to convince Charles to stay for one more season, that’s the main ambition, but they will analyze every offer that’s made,” he said.

“I expect, personally, that they could agree a fee around 30, €35m [£30.1m] plus bonus.”

Pay it up.

If Andrea Radrizzani knows this, then he should pull the trigger immediately.

Whether he has the funds now or not, he certainly will do over the next couple of weeks with Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips set to bring in over £100million as things stand.

De Ketelaere may take some convincing, but Premier League football and huge wages usually do the trick, with the Belgian star more than good enough to become our top earner.

Leeds need to really make some statement signings this summer with two of their best players set to leave, and there would be no better way of starting that than with this addition.

Victor Orta is said to have flown out to Brussels this week after being spotted once again at the airport, but with De Ketelaere himself at Wimbledon, it looks as though there is a lot to do before personal terms are put on the table.

The Whites have to get their foot on the pedal – bring it on.
