Dje D’avilla ‘to clear medical’ as Leeds United transfer news emerges

Dje D’avilla should have no issues to clear his Leeds United medical despite him not having too much first-team experience, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that as the Leiria midfielder would be arriving from the Portuguese second division, it would take him time to adapt but that’s on the club to ensure he fits in ideally.

This comes after Sport TV Portugal journalist Sebastiao Sousa Pinto reported on 14 January that the Whites had made a £3.3million bid to sign the 21-year-old Ivorian.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds NewsBrar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about D’avilla: “He is coming from a different league and also does not have that much senior experience under his belt.

“That said, I wouldn’t consider them red flags but variables to understand and consider when it comes to his fitness and ramp up planning.

These variables themselves wouldn’t cause any issues with his medical.

Leeds United will be taking a major gamble on Dje D’avilla

At 21 and with limited senior experience, it may take the Ivorian midfielder some time to adapt to the English game.

Leeds need someone who can strengthen the first team and help them in their push for promotion back to the Premier League.

At this stage, a move for D’avilla makes little sense and the board are also unlikely to sanction the deal.

In other Leeds United news, a major development has emerged as the Whites are eyeing a move for a Premier League striker.
