Daniel Farke suffers worst news after Leeds United injury development
Dan Bardell believes an injury to Dan James is in the worst area for Leeds United after their summer transfer business.
Daniel Farke confirmed that the Wales international would miss another four weeks of action after reinjuring himself during his rehabilitation [Yorkshire Evening Post].
This could leave the Whites’ squad light in attacking areas with summer signing Largie Ramazani likely to be forced into the Elland Road spotlight.
Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell has suggested after the outbound transfers completed over the summer that an injury to James is the worst-case scenario for Farke.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Bardell said: “Four weeks is a long time in the Championship because we know how thick and fast the games come.
“Leeds are in a position where they’ve already lost plenty of players from their front line so losing another one for four weeks isn’t ideal.
“Injuries happen and it is one of those things that they are going to have to deal with.
“Given what happened over the summer, it is probably the worst area of their squad to suffer an injury.“
Dan James suffers Leeds United injury setback
The Whites lost key names in Crysencio Summerville and Georgino Rutter over the summer in disappointing circumstances.
Farke has done well to recover from their departures with Ramazani and Manor Solomon coming in late in the window.
Wilfried Gnonto also stayed on at the club which is a positive, but losing James for a prolonged period is still frustrating this early in the season.

There are useful options to pick from ahead of the Burnley clash on Saturday (13 September) but Leeds would definitely rather have the Welshman available.
