Daniel Farke ‘heartbreak’ revealed as Leeds sack news emerges
Leeds United are one win away from securing another champion crown to put the icing on the cake of their latest Championship campaign.
Victory over relegation-doomed Plymouth Argyle on Saturday (3 May) would ensure a 100-point title win as Premier League football imminently returns to Elland Road.
Daniel Farke, meanwhile, has been at the centre of reports over the past week doubting his future, with an insinuation that the ownership in West Yorkshire have doubts over his capability in the top flight.

Farke used ‘heartbreak’ as fuel to ensure promotion – expert
Whatever the future holds for Farke and Leeds United’s relationship, this season will not be forgotten in a hurry – particularly if they become centurions.
They could be joined on a three-figure points total by Burnley, who must simultaneously fend off play-off-chasing Millwall on the final day, with an inferior goal difference to Leeds by 13 goals.
Farke’s position was thrown into doubt in more understandable circumstances last season, when the Whites despairingly fell at the final hurdle at Wembley against Southampton, having been dumped into the play-offs following a slow run of form in the final six games.
Danger of repeating itself loomed as Leeds dropped into third just a matter of weeks ago, but their revival was ruthless was added to by their 4-0 thrashing of Bristol City at Elland Road on Monday night (28 April).
TV commentator Ian Darke admitted the view of the supporters towards Farke could have been massively uneasy had the wretched run continued and cost them a second time, but insisted the German used last season as a key lesson.
“The attitude towards Farke would certainly have been difficult to deal with had that bad run of form continued,” Darke exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“But they got back on track, Sheffield United blinked, and fans started to see the finish line. That can be like a force of nature for a team as close as Leeds, especially with the heartbreak they had last season. They are back to their best now.”

Leeds United have huge summer ahead in quest to sustain Premier League long-term
Leeds United’s rampant display against Bristol City raised even more eyebrows on Monday – it was a Premier League-level performance which would have swept aside several top-flight sides. They made Liam Manning’s promotion hopefuls look like mismatched relegation fodder.
It ignites the debate further on how the current Leeds team under Farke would fare in the top division – but investment is anticipated from 49ers Enterprises, who also have a huge decision to make on their manager.

They opted to stay loyal to Farke last summer, but knew of his record in the Championship as opposed to the Premier League.
Leeds are perhaps under pressure more than most to stop the rot of promoted sides in the Premier League, as they look to maintain, build and eventually challenge for the major honours once again.
