Bali Mumba ‘to pass medical’ as Leeds United transfer news emerges

Bali Mumba should have no issues clearing his medical ahead of a potential transfer to Leeds United, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert has lauded the 23-year-old’s fitness and his ability to play 90 minutes consistently this season for Plymouth.

LeedsUnited.News reported on 13 January that the Whites had even sent scouts to watch the right-back as they are considering a January transfer swoop.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Mumba: “Considering his near-perfect injury record and ability to play 90 minutes consistently, he is certainly ideal or near ideal in terms of fitness.

Thus, a medical seems to be a formality for him, at this stage.

Him already being in the Championship would also mean a reduced risk of injury as he’s moving to the same league.

Bali Mumba will be a good signing for Leeds United

The English defender is capable of playing at right-back, left-back and in central midfield.

He could be Daniel Farke’s Swiss army knife as he can operate in different roles and systems – something which will be crucial come the end of the season.
