Adidas deal worth millions at Leeds United after brand new announcement
Leeds United will earn millions from their kit deal with Adidas after it was extended recently, Dan Plumley has said.
The Whites recently announced an extension to the deal with the German sporting giant after first signing on board ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Plumley, a football finance expert, admitted that it’s positive for both parties, but still won’t be in the “top-tier” package that Adidas provide, yet.
“It’s a really good deal,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“You look at the way in which this has come about and linked to some of those record kit sales, it’s obvious that Adidas are invested in that as well and see potential in Leeds United.
“You’re always looking at the ballpark numbers for what the deal actually is and what it’s worth, it will be in the region of a few million, for sure.

“It won’t be that top-tier Adidas package given where they are at the minute, but it shows the relationship is going well and that can drive other leverage going forward.
“It just seems to be a really positive deal at the minute and really working well.”

Paraag Marathe and the 49ers Enterprises have made no secret of their wish to take Leeds to the very top, and securing big deals such as this is part of it.
After the yellow away kit broke sales records this season, it is no surprise to see Adidas want to continue this positive relationship with the Yorkshire giants.
