Aaron Ramsdale ‘to pass medical’ as Leeds eye new transfer
Leeds United will want to look at the finger injury Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale sustained earlier this season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he did recover from it and that’s why any time looking to sign him should not be too concerned about it.
With Southampton getting relegated, he’s understood to be on his way out in the summer.

Ramsdale expected to clear medical despite past injury
According to TEAMtalk on 8 May, Leeds may be given the edge to sign the England international if they can guarantee him first-team minutes.
It’s understood that Farke wants to find an upgrade on Illan Meslier and has identified Ramsdale as a replacement.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Ramsdale: “A keeper’s medical won’t be all that different because they still have baseline medical checks you want to clear.
“He did have a finger injury this season, but appears to have recovered from it.
“Any team signing him will want to look at it, but I do not see it causing any issues.“

Leeds United must sign Ramsdale this summer
Having Meslier in goal is not going to be ideal for the Whites if they plan to stay up next season.
Karl Darlow has done well as his understudy but he’s not at the level to be the first choice in the Premier League.
Hopefully, Ramsdale joins in the summer as he’s shown his quality at Arsenal and Southampton.
His in-demand status stems from his exceptional shot-stopping, precise distribution and composure under pressure.
The 27-year-old’s agility, reflexes and ability to play out from the back suit modern tactical demands.
Proven in the Premier League with Arsenal and Bournemouth, his leadership and big-match mentality make him a top goalkeeper target.
