49ers Enterprises may walk away from Leeds United legal action – Finance Expert
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Dan Plumley has insisted that the 49ers Enterprises may walk away from any Leeds United legal action against Everton and the Premier League.
Under the stewardship of Andrea Radrizzani, the Whites have threatened both parties with legal action in the past two seasons over alleged FFP breaches, with the hearing not set until October,
With the Championship season being three months old by that stage, Plumley admitted that the 49ers may be happy with their takeover and just get on with the football.

“It is possible,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“We’ve seen the takeover prices that have been agreed and the difference in price from Leeds being in the Premier League or the Championship, if the 49ers are happy with the takeover and the price and want to kick on, they may have a difference of opinion and choose to walk away from this situation.
“At the minute, all options are on the table with that and it will be interesting to see which way it goes, but of course, owner motives come into it as well. New owners coming in may choose to push it, but they may not, so that will impact the space.”

With Paraag Marathe taking over from Radrizzani as chairman once this takeover is fully complete, it will solely depend on what his motives are.
A new manager, new transfers in and out are more important right now, so it is time to leave this nonsense in the past and push towards getting back to the Premier League.
