View: Victor Orta video clip proves Leeds United may have already sealed Brenden Aaronson agreement
Leeds United are edging closer to Premier League safety with each passing week under the new regime of Jesse Marsch.
Without getting carried away, after Burnley lost to Norwich and sacked Sean Dyche, many believed the battle was already over.
Victor Orta will have had a list of targets ready for survival and relegation, but it now looks like he can use the first.
RB Salzburg playmaker Brenden Aaronson is obviously top of that list, after failed attempts to get a deal done in January.
The American international has worked with Marsch previously, and that will only strengthen his chances of now arriving.
It may already even be done.

Leeds fans at Watford were pleasantly surprised when Orta showed up at one of the pubs for a drink before kick-off last week.
The Spaniard got carried away as he always done, and even started chanting Aaronson’s name in a clip shared on Twitter.
Red faced.
This is one of those clips that would constantly be brought up if Leeds did not get a deal over the line for Aaronson.
It would even be up there with the famous “don’t go to bed” scandal under Massimo Cellino on transfer deadline day, only for us to sell players.
Orta may come across as erratic but he knows what he is doing, and he surely wouldn’t get sucked into this if the deal wasn’t guaranteed with survival.
Leeds continued talks with RB Salzburg after failing in January, and it was clear that the goal was always to get it done in the summer.
It looks like it is over the line early, and we can all relax.
The only thing Marsch has to do before getting his man? Keep us in the Premier League – he’s doing great so far.
