Spotted: Leeds United squad laughs in face of Millwall fans as abusive video clip emerges from The Den
Leeds United made it look easy as they tamed the Lions at The Den on Sunday afternoon as they smashed Millwall 3-0 in the Championship.
Joel Piroe’s brace before a goal by Georginio Rutter meant the Whites rocketed up the Championship standings to 10th place.
But the win becomes even more impressive when you see footage of the horrific, intimidating scenes that met the Leeds players as they got off the team bus ahead of kick-off in Bermondsey.
LeedsLive journalist Beren Cross shared a video clip of what sounds like a handful of Millwall fans hurling abuse at Leeds’ squad and staff.
You can watch the video clip here on Twitter. The language is too bad for publication but some of the stuff that can be published ranges from telling Luke Ayling should get his hair cut, telling Charlie Cresswell he should have stayed at the club and calling Piroe “fat”.
Glen Kamara’s appearance seemed to be the only thing that left the Millwall fans awestruck. He did well for Rangers, apparently.

It’s hard to tell how any of the Leeds players managed to make it to the field after Dave from Lewisham called them overweight, gave his haircut reviews and shouted “Mill” and the C-word at the top of his lungs.
Scary stuff, indeed.
What’s hilarious about the video clip is that most of the Leeds players just laugh at the idiotic fans, who couldn’t create a scary atmosphere Halloween in Salem on 31 October.
It’s just a bunch of grown-up men (believe it or not) with nothing better to do than hurl abuse at people who are doing way better in life than they ever will.
The beauty of is that Piroe got called fat yet scored two wonderful goals to put the home side in their place and earn Leeds’ first win at The Den in over 10 years.
