MOT View: Twitter leak shows potential new Leeds home shirt for 21/22 season

Leeds United are already plotting ahead for next season in the Premier League after their fantastic first campaign back.

Despite being away for more than 16 years, the Whites and Marcelo Bielsa managed to secure a top-half finish ahead of the likes of Everton.

Andrea Radrizzani has secured many incredible deals along the way, including a kit manufacturing deal with Adidas to take over from Kappa.

The first kit released with the Three Stripes has been a brilliant success.

With that in mind, next season’s home strip is likely to be very similar, with the basic all-white creation something that will great in front of a packed Elland Road again.

Twitter user Yorkshire On Tour shared the potential new strip on social media this week, and it appears to have not gone down very well.

“It isn’t official but it will be soon,” they wrote. “This is next years home shirt. I’m sure this isn’t news to everyone but there you have it.”

We’re hoping this isn’t the exact same strip as it will be next season.

The yellow stripes down the sleeve make it look more of a training strip, and it is certainly strange as we have never really had that colour on the home kit.

It doesn’t end there.

The sponsor and Adidas badge are a different blue to the blue on the actual badge, and it just looks like a shocking cheap version of what the strip may actually look like.

Nothing is confirmed as it stands, though, and although this post makes it seem definite, we won’t believe anything until it is released for the world to see; bring it on.
