MOT View: Ayling & Dallas to start – Predicted Leeds XI v Birmingham

Leeds desperately need to get their season back on track after a disappointing run of results.

A home game against Birmingham, who have lost three of the last four, should be just the tonic, but with Leeds at the moment you never know.

One thing we can be pretty sure of is that Marcelo Bielsa is a stubborn manager.

Leeds have lost two and drawn one of their last four games, a slump that’s seen them drop to fifth in the table, but Bielsa is showing no signs of dissatisfaction with striker Patrick Bamford, despite him not scoring since August.

In fact, according to Football Insider, he is set to play Bamford again on Saturday, despite Eddie Nketiah scoring a hat-trick for the England Under-21s on Tuesday night.

We think his team selection will be identical to the one against Milwall.

There’s a chance that either or both of Adam Forshaw and Pablo Hernandez could be back.  If they are they both go straight back in the team.

If both are fit it’s likely that Helder Costa and Stuart Dallas drop out for them. However, their injuries have been dragging on and we’ve no confidence they will be fit.

If not, this is the side we think Bielsa will put out against Birmingham.
