Leeds United XI v Watford may have just been revealed by Twitter account

Leeds United may have inadvertently shared Marcelo Bielsa’s starting line-up to play Watford on Saturday.

On Friday evening, the Whites’ official Twitter account uploaded a video clip of players going through their paces at Thorp Arch ahead of the Watford game at Elland Rod.

But all the players in the video clip can be made into what is very much an expected starting line-up for Bielsa.

In the video clip, no goalkeeper is present but the shot-stoppers regularly train away from the outfield group. Either way, Illan Meslier is bound to start in goals.

But other than that, you can see Leeds’ potential back-four of Jamie Shackleton, Diego Llorente, Liam Cooper and Junior Firpo.

In the midfield, there are Kalvin Phillips, Stuart Dallas and Mateusz Klich.

Daniel James and Raphinha are the two wide players in the video clip while Rodrigo is present with him expected to start up front in place of the injured Patrick Bamford.

It’s worth noting that other than these 10 outfield players, no one else is present in the video clip.

Jack Harrison, Pascal Struijk and Tyler Roberts are among the other senior players at Leeds who are available to play at Elland Road against Watford but none of them are in the video.

If Watford watched that video, they may be able to deduce who is playing but we’re not exactly concerned about it as Bielsa used to give his starting line-up out to the media a couple of days before games kicked off in the Championship.

If that is the starting line-up on Saturday then we’re quite confident. It’s been a tough start to the season with Leeds winless in six Premier League games.

But with Llorente back from injury and able to partner Cooper at the back, we’re expecting a far more solid defence and the midfield and attack should be able to create plenty of chances to score.
