Leeds United find Crysencio Summerville replacement – he costs just £8.5m

Leeds United could now make a move to sign Silas from Stuttgart this summer as a potential replacement if Crysencio Summerville departs.

After the Whites failed to secure promotion through the Play-Offs, fears over losing their stars became a real possibility.

A 1-0 defeat to Southampton meant that it would be another season in the Championship for Daniel Farke’s side and will the likes of Summerville want to stay?

Now making a move for Silas from Stuttgart could make sense for the Whites with an £8.5m price tag said to be enough to sign him [BILD].

Despite his side finishing second in the Bundesliga, the Congo winger only featured eight times from the start despite scoring five and assisting two [FotMob].

Although he wouldn’t add the flair and creativity of Summerville, as a former striker he will add some firepower to the frontline.

He has the versatility to play across the front line as he combines a physical presence with electric pace which could see him tear up the Championship.

There is no doubt that losing Summerville may be damaging but there are options out there for Farke and Co. to replace him.
