Leeds United fans will surely rage at record-breaking news in last 48 hours
Leeds United are certainly going strong in the Championship under Daniel Farke, with the Whites currently third in the table.
The West Yorkshire club have done their best in keeping up with high-flying Leicester City and Ipswich Town, but overtaking either remains a very difficult task.
Farke can, however, focus his efforts fully on that challenge for the time being, with the Whites having no distractions for the time being having been knocked out of the League Cup by Salford City back in August.

But an exciting run is still on the cards in the FA Cup, although they won’t have it easy given how they have been drawn away to Peterborough United. With Premier League clubs also entering the competition at this stage, it could have been much worse.
But Whites supporters will still rage at the fact that they have been given an away draw, with those fans denied an exciting afternoon at Elland Road.
And that rage would certainly be understandable given the club’s history in the competition, with Leeds now handed the most consecutive away draws in the FA Cup, with the meeting with Peterborough representing their 13th such tie [Yorkshire Evening Post, 3 December].
That fixture is, however, scheduled for the beginning of January, meaning the Leeds faithful still have plenty of chances to cheer on their team from Elland Road in the Championship in the coming weeks.
If Peterborough can be overcome then, a home tie is surely on the cards for the West Yorkshire outfit in the fourth round.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites want to beat Burnley and Leicester City to sign an international ace from a Championship rival.
