Dan James to have a field day for Leeds United amid Millwall team news

Leeds United winger Dan James could have a field day when they face Millwall with Joe Bryan set to miss the encounter due to suspension.

The return to the Leeds squad for James has been a huge boost and his performances since have certainly been cause for excitement.

His goal against Plymouth showcased the quality Leeds had missed in his absence and with Bryan set to miss out for Millwall, he may be able to thrive again.

Bryan picked up his fifth yellow card of the season last time out and will sit out at the Den, as reported by Leeds United News (5 November).

Dan James can be the key for Leeds United v Millwall

Throughout his time at Elland Road, James has showcased his ability as a top-level Championship forward and his performance against Plymouth rightfully earned him his plaudits.

In Bryan’s absence, Danny McNamara will likely be next in line to start for Millwall and questions will be asked as to how well-equipped he is to handle the threat that James can cause down the right flank.

James’ pace and ability to get in behind an opposition defence could be the difference maker in the encounter.

McNamara has featured for the Lions eight times this season, with six Championship appearances although his presence in the side is significantly different to that of Bryan who boasts a wealth of Championship experience and know-how at the back.

A win for Leeds could potentially put them top of the Championship albeit they would need a huge favour from Preston when they host Sunderland on Wednesday, 6 November.

In other Leeds United news, Daniel Farke has “no room” for Manor Solomon in his starting XI at this moment in time, according to Beren Cross.
