Largie Ramazani starts, two changes – Leeds United predicted XI v Sheffield Wednesday

Daniel Farke could bring Largie Ramazani straight into the Leeds United starting XI for their Championship clash against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Whites are yet to secure a win this season after picking up two draws and a defeat in their opening three fixtures.

A 0-0 draw against West Brom did little to excite supporters with the home side dominating large spells of the game at The Hawthorns.

Farke will now be hoping that the imminent arrival of a new signing can give Leeds the boost they need to secure all three points against the Owls on Friday (23 August).

In a subdued display from the Whites against the Baggies, Illan Meslier was a shining light and looks set to keep his place against Wednesday.

After keeping a clean sheet against a top Championship side, the back four is likely to be kept the same.

Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk have already formed a useful partnership with Jayden Bogle and Junior Firpo supplementing them from out wide.

The midfield three is where a change looks set to be made by Farke with forward Joel Piroe potentially set to be axed after some poor showings.

In his place, Joe Rothwell could come in to make his first start for the club alongside Ilia Gruev and Ethan Ampadu. The Bournemouth loanee will add to the midfield stability which has been much needed at Elland Road.

On the wing, Ramazani could come in to make his Leeds debut with an official announcement set to be made ahead of his transfer from Almeria.

This could see Dan James drop out but this would all depend on the Belgian’s availability. On the opposite flank, Wilfried Gnonto looks set to keep his place after a positive start to the season.

Up front, despite failing to score yet this season, Mateo Joseph is likely to reprise his role as the Whites’ number nine.
