Largie Ramazani set for first Leeds United start v Burnley after injury news
Daniel Farke could give Largie Ramazani his first Leeds United start against Burnley after a new setback for Dan James was confirmed.
The German confirmed in his press conference, via the Yorkshire Evening Post (12 September), that the Wales international will be out for another four weeks.
James’ absence could prove to be an opportunity for Ramazani, signed for £10.2million from Almeria this summer, to make his first start for the Whites at Elland Road on Saturday 14 September.
Ramazani remained at Thorp Arch throughout the break while Manor Solomon, who was given the nod to start against Hull City, was on international duty with Israel, so he won’t be as fresh as the Belgian.
Daniel Farke must put trust in Largie Ramazani for Leeds United
With 13 players absent from Thorp Arch in the international break and James likely spending much of that time in the treatment room, all the signs point towards Farke changing things against Burnley.
Facing a recently-relegated side just one point and two places below them in the table, Farke cannot afford any of his players to be under-cooked or travel-weary ahead of kick-off on 14 September.

Therefore, with Solomon having much less time to get back up to speed with the United side following his appearances for Israel, Ramazani should be given the chance to prove himself from the start.
The 23-year-old winger was only given a late cameo off the bench against Hull, in place of Solomon, but having been one of few new faces still in the building during the break, his time may well have come.
Farke made clear that having so many players missing hasn’t been easy over the last two weeks, and this could be the perfect chance for Ramazani to show what he has in the locker.
