Jamie O’Hara embarrassed on social media after Leeds United mention in new Tottenham rant

Jamie O’Hara has been left red-faced after dragging Leeds United into a rant after Tottenham lost 1-0 to Arsenal on Sunday (15 September).

The talkSPORT presenter took to X following the defeat, blasting Spurs’ decisions to sign Championship players as an excuse for the poor result, including Archie Gray’s move from Elland Road.

However, it did not take long until O’Hara’s opinion was picked apart on social media, with his example completely embarrassing himself.

Taking to X following the North London Derby, O’Hara wrote: “Give me Aaron Lennon, [Tom] Huddlestone, [Robbie] Keane, [Jermaine] Defoe and [Rafael] van der Vaart over any of these any day of the week.

“We sign players from Bournemouth, Burnley, Leeds and Forest, then expect championship results. Spurs, head’s gone.”

In response, HLTCO wrote: “You signed Defoe from West Ham whilst they were in the Championship, Lennon from Leeds whilst they were in the Championship and Huddlestone from Derby whilst they were in the Championship.”

Ouch.

Jamie O’Hara looks a fool after dragging Leeds United into Tottenham rant

It is blatantly clear that O’Hara saw red following Spurs’ disappointing loss to their biggest rivals, with his immediate reaction lacking any research or thought.

Some of the best players the Premier League has ever seen started their careers in the Championship, such as Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, John Stones and James Maddison, to name just a few.

Ange Postecoglou has added multiple talented players to his squad so there is no excuse for being unable to beat Mikel Arteta, one without Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.

Although Gray has not been given a chance to prove himself at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yet, they have, undoubtedly, got a young star on their hands after his breakout season last term.

The 18-year-old made 44 appearances in the Championship last season as Leeds narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League, and he is already sorely missed by the fanbase at Elland Road.

The Whites will want Gray to return to Elland Road if O’Hara continues to undermine the talented midfielder as Spurs failed to beat the Gunners for a fifth straight time.
