Daniel Farke could make two changes to his Leeds United side against Coventry in the Championship on Saturday 28 September.

The Whites currently sit sixth in the table, five points adrift of league leaders West Brom.

It was a 2-0 victory last time out against Cardiff, with goals from Largie Ramazani and Joel Piroe capping off a dominant display in the Welsh capital.

Daniel Farke to make Leeds United changes

Illan Meslier will of course be between the sticks for the West Yorkshire outfit as he picked up yet another clean sheet with ease in Cardiff.

Junior Firpo and Jayden Bogle are once again likely to keep their starting roles in the squad, especially since the former's MCL injury should have healed more by now.

Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk have been formidable at centre-back this term with the pair helping to solidify Leeds' defence. Struijk will, however, be hoping he has better luck this time around after missing a penalty at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Midfield is where Farke could be tempted to make his first change, with Gruev potentially dropping out for "bargain" summer arrival Ao Tanaka [The Athletic, 5 September].

Last time out against Cardiff, Ilia Gruev didn't have the best of times, only winning one of his four ground duels, with Ethan Ampadu to keep his spot as captain.

The attacking trio of Willy Gnonto, Brenden Aaronson and Largie Ramazani all had stellar outings last weekend and the German would be silly to drop them for the game against Mark Robins' men.

Last but not least, despite starting each Championship game this season, it feels like the time has now come for Mateo Joseph to be rested from the starting XI.

Joel Piroe would likely come in to fulfil the number nine role and will be motivated after scoring the finisher last time out, with more surely to come.
