Daniel Farke ‘must axe Manor Solomon’ after what happened in QPR v Leeds
Leeds United manager Daniel Farke faces a selection dilemma when it comes to Manor Solomon’s involvement against Swansea City.
Leeds are still top of the Championship despite the 2-2 draw against QPR on Saturday (15 March).
However, their gap at the summit has been wiped out after Sheffield United and Burnley secured victories after Farke’s side had dropped points.
If the Elland Road outfit are to reassert their dominance in the second tier, Israel international Solomon may have to be dropped.

Solomon causes concern as Leeds drop points
As Farke chased a stunning comeback victory, Solomon was replaced by Largie Ramazani with six minutes of normal time left.
The 25-year-old was spotted in a furious reaction to the decision at Loftus Road and that kind of behaviour is unacceptable.
His actions and the fact that he has failed to register a goal contribution in his last six appearances mean that he should be dropped for the clash in Wales on 29 March.

Leeds need to get back to winning ways against Swansea
Solomon’s poor form is not the biggest concern for the Elland Road outfit. That is the fact that they have dropped points in three of their last four league matches.
Their Premier League ambitions are still very much intact, but the gap that the Whites had built up is no longer looking so healthy with just eight matches left to play.
Championship | Played | GD | Points |
1. Leeds United | 38 | +51 | 80 |
2. Sheffield United | 38 | +25 | 80 |
3. Burnley | 38 | +41 | 78 |
There are still plenty of twists and turns in the race for automatic promotion, but having one of your most potent attackers out of form is not ideal for Farke.
The German needs to drop Tottenham loanee Solomon to the bench in order to freshen up the Leeds attack after the two-week break.
He needs Solomon to step up and return to the form that saw him notch eight of his 14 goal contributions in seven matches between 4 January and 11 February.
If he fails to do so, it could derail Leeds’ title charge and promotion hopes, and they may be forced to settle for a playoff place, which is historically not very successful for the Peacocks.
