Daniel Farke has to axe Manor Solomon after what he did for Leeds v Luton Town

Daniel Farke has to axe Manor Solomon from his Leeds United starting XI against Blackburn Rovers after the performance he put in against Luton Town.

The attacker may have been coming off a decent game after the Whites’ 4-3 win over Swansea City at the weekend, but the Israel international seemed miles off of it against the Hatters on 27 November.

Solomon had plenty of chances throughout the game but just couldn’t get involved or even have much of an impact on the result.

In fact, at around the 76th-minute mark, the Tottenham loanee was presented with a golden opportunity to see the game off and put the West Yorkshire outfit 3-0 up but instead, he aimed for the top-right corner and hit the ball way over the bar.

As soon as Daniel James entered the pitch, however, the Whites’ attack seemed far more aggressive and looked as if they had a much better vision in the final third as the Welshman bagged his side’s third.

Daniel James deserves to start against Blackburn Rovers

As with most of the Welshman’s career, his season so far has been full of injuries with the attacker missing a decent chunk of games for his team.

However, since his return, he’s seemed to come back stronger than ever and looks to be in some of his best form yet.

Despite only being on the pitch for 21 minutes, he was the most impactful of Leeds’ attackers in the second half and was even dubbed “glorious” by Gary Taphouse after his goal put the Whites 3-0 up.

At the moment, James is one of, if not the, best attackers that Farke has within his ranks and if he doesn’t choose to start the attacker against Blackburn on 30 November, especially after he’s been rested for most Wednesday’s game versus Luton, the German will likely have many questions to answer.

Farke is blessed with options in the final third and must ensure he makes full use of his squad.
