Dan James to miss out amid Tottenham transfer news - Leeds United predicted XI v Brighton

Jesse Marsch is predicted to hand Luis Sinisterra his full Premier League debut when Leeds United take on Brighton at the AMEX on Saturday afternoon.

Sinisterra, 23, scored on his full debut on Wednesday night (24 August) as the Whites won 3-1 against Barnsley at Elland Road.

From the side that started that game, Marsch is expected to make numerous changes with only Illan Meslier, Liam Cooper, Diego Llorente and Sinisterra keeping their spots in the line-up.

Meslier is predicted to start behind a back-four of Rasmus Kristensen, Llorente, Cooper and Pascal Struijk, who’s been filling in well at left-back while Junior Firpo and Stuart Dallas are injured.

Marc Roca and Tyler Adams were in superb form alongside each other in the heart of the midfield in the 3-0 win over Chelsea last weekend so they’re expected to partner up again against Brighton on 27 August.

In the attack, Sinisterra could start on the right wing with Jack Harrison on the left and Brenden Aaronson in the number 10 role behind Rodrigo, who’s got four goals in three Premier League games so far.

Sinisterra’s start could mean that Daniel James is left out of the starting line-up.

The Sun journalist Alan Nixon reported on Patreon this week that Tottenham are keen on signing James in a £20million deal.

While he might not be left out due to speculation, he could be left out because Sinisterra is clearly the better option to start on the right-wing based on the Welshman’s recent form and the new signing’s performance against Barnsley.
