Gary Neville mocks Angus Kinnear as footage of Leeds United chief emerges in defeat v Arsenal
Gary Neville mocked Angus Kinnear after the Leeds United chief executive was spotted by Sky Sports’ cameras at the Emirates on Sunday.
Kinnear, Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta didn’t seem very pleased to be seeing the Whites lose against Arsenal and dropping into the Premier League’s relegation zone.
As quoted by BBC Sport on 1 December, Leeds chief Kinnear spoke out against an independent regulator in English football.
Kinnear said that plans to create a more even playing field in English football would be “as flawed as they are radical” and also compared them to Maoism.
Manchester United legend Neville mocked Kinnear’s comments as he made his appearance on Sky Sports on Sunday.
“Just looking at the Leeds hierarchy there and seeing Angus Kinnear reminded me of his “Maoism” comment,”

“He could be voting for a regulator in 2-3 weeks!!”
Ridiculous management
Leeds’ board need to take a long hard look at themselves because all the hard work they’ve put into this club is close to coming undone.
Whether Marcelo Bielsa thought his squad was complete last summer or in January, it clearly wasn’t and Orta should have stepped in.
Kinnear also shouldn’t be so dense as to think that Leeds wouldn’t benefit from English football having its own independent regulator too.
Leeds are absolutely nowhere near the Premier League’s big six as it stands and they won’t ever be in a very long time unless something drastic happens.
Leeds are a huge club and are better supported than at least two of the big six sides in England, so why would Kinnear want the Whites to be in more of a level playing field than they are currently?
Because, let’s face it, we’ve lost to Manchester City and Arsenal in the last two matchdays and are basically set to lose to Chelsea in our next game.
Leeds would have a better fighting chance if the money in football wasn’t so grossly uneven.
In other Leeds United news, this star player will quit Elland Road in the summer no matter what.
