Leeds United transfer news: Daniel Farke could use relationship with Thomas Tuchel to sign Bayern Munich’s Gabriel Vidovic on loan
Daniel Farke may use his close relationship with Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel to sign starlet Gabriel Vidovic on loan for Leeds, according to Leeds-Live.
Farke was finally unveiled as the new manager at Elland Road after weeks of speculation and is expected to be backed in the transfer market once the 49ers takeover is fully ratified by the EFL.
And with the new season starting in a month the club need to get a move on in the transfer window and Farke could look to use his connections to help bolster the squad, with Croatian wonderkid Vidovic mooted as a potential target.

“Farke, then, may well be prepared to call up to his old pal and ask for a bit more assistance as Leeds put their squad together, particularly later in the window once it becomes clearer who may or may not be available at the Allianz Arena,” they wrote.
“Young Croatian attacking midfielder Gabriel Vidovic might be available too after his spell with Vitesse last season.”
Talent
Obviously this is going to be an expensive and busy transfer window for Leeds, and plenty of players are likely to leave which means they will need to be replaced.
But utilising the loan market could be really smart business when you consider that a lot of the players leaving will be doing so temporarily.

With the aim for the season to get back into the Premier League at the first attempt, bringing in temporary solutions for potentially temporary problems is sensible and helps the club remain smart financially.
Vidovic is a player with exceptional potential and the exposure to regular first-team football in England would be great for his development, and Bayern could well be tempted to do a deal.
As long as a deal is beneficial to Leeds to then it would be smart to use those connections to strengthen the squad on our terms, and fans can be excited about talent that could arrive.
