Super Computer makes Leeds United relegation prediction in Premier League

Leeds United currently stand a 23% chance of being relegated from the Premier League this season, according to Five Thirty-Eight and their Super Computer.

The Whites crashed to yet another defeat on Sunday 5 February, this time losing 1-0 at Nottingham Forest after dominating again to only fluff their lines.

Pressure is increasing on Jesse Marsch, but the Super Computer has backed Leeds to finish 15th in the Premier League, five points clear of danger in the summer.

As things stand, Bournemouth stand very little chance of beating the drop with Southampton said to also face the doom of the bottom three to fall into the Championship.

Everton are still predicted to be relegated, despite their 1-0 win over Arsenal in Sean Dyche’s first game in charge for the Toffees over the weekend.

Leeds United

Nothing.

The fans have already seen enough from Marsch, and believe that a new man is needed in the Elland Road dugout to make sure that relegation isn’t a possibility.

One small piece of credit is that the tactics of the American see Leeds dominate games, but they also see his side become one of the most toothless outfits in front of goal in the entire Premier League.

Something just isn’t clicking, and the narrow system is being picked apart defensively with teams being able to just choose when they want to score on the counter-attack, despite hardly touching the ball.

Being brutally honest, Nottingham Forest were one of the worst teams that Leeds have faced in their three years back in the top flight, yet they still managed to take the three points.

The blame simply has to fall on Marsch now, who has been given far too many chances to come out and speak nonsense about how together the squad feel.

Football is about points, not about feeling good with friends – change may be needed to make sure relegation does not happen, it’s not good enough.
