Phil Hay: Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente all likely out v Leicester
Phil Hay has shared that Leeds United defender Diego Llorente is likely to be ruled out completely against Leicester.
Jesse Marsch didn’t 100% rule out the Spaniard in his press conference yesterday (03 March), but he wasn’t confident.
Hay insisted that Patrick Bamford could return, but this big-name trio including Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper are likely to miss out completely on Saturday.

Writing for The Athletic on Thursday evening (03 March), Hay shared the latest team news coming from Thorp Arch.
“Injury wise, Bamford was training today and has a chance of being in the squad for the weekend,” he wrote.
“Llorente is probably out, as are Phillips and Cooper, but the latter two are making very positive progress, Marsch said.”

Blow.
There was a glimmer of hope with pictures being shared all week.
But, it looks as though the Leeds social media were on a hype train trying to raise the spirits of everyone after the exit of Marcelo Bielsa.
Phillips and Cooper are close, but after so long on the sidelines, it is critical that we don’t rush them back and risk yet another blow.
There are 12 cup finals left, and if missing the Leicester game means they can return against Aston Villa and the rest of the season – we’d be happy.
Marsch is set to have most of his first team back in the next week with Bamford also in training, and that has come at the right time.
We need points, and it starts to bring up questions about Marcelo Bielsa taking his time with their returns that they were spotted in training as soon as he leaves.
It’s time to get them back in.
