Leeds United star Pascal Struijk picks up hip problem, should be available v Brentford
Leeds United star Pascal Struijk has picked up a hip injury this week during the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.
The Dutchman was withdrawn at half-time of that win, and Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed an update on his fitness today (3rd December).
Struijk should be available, meaning that his participation against Brentford is not yet 100% confirmed.

Sharing the news on their official Twitter account, it was shared that Struijk should be available for the upcoming clash.
“Pascal has a knock around his hip, but we think he’ll also be available,” they wrote.
Positive news.
It sounds as though this one will go down to the very wire, but it appears to be positive news regarding the fitness of Struijk.
Having watched him closely recently, the young defensive star was holding his hip as early as the 2-1 defeat at Spurs (21 November).
With that in mind, it was probably something that has been brewing for weeks and it finally forced him to be taken off against Palace.
A rest will likely serve him well ahead of the busy Christmas period, and Junior Firpo could be handed the chance to start against Brentford.
The Spaniard hasn’t enjoyed the best start to life at Elland Road but did catch the eye on Tuesday after a rocky start to the second half.
Struijk is a soldier, there is no doubting that, but you have to be smart at times and not resting him this weekend could lead to him having a bigger problem over Christmas and missing more games.
