Leeds signed seven-figure deal with Socios, Premier League could investigate
Leeds United are among a number of clubs to sign deals with cryptocurrency companies this season the Premier League.
The Times has shared that the Whites signed a seven-figure deal at the start of this season with the Socios platform.
It is reported now that the Premier League is pledging to investigate the growing relationships with these companies.

Socios and other companies involved in cryptocurrencies are offering fans “digital collectables” from their clubs.
This is also known as memorabilia that is not physical but can be used as assets instead online.
The Premier League are also said to be considering their own version of these so-called collectables further down the line.
Supporter groups of clubs are becoming concerned that significant fees are being paid alongside the worry that children are being tempted onto the sites.

Panic?
It looks as though the Premier League is just trying to please those that are becoming worried by these schemes.
If the league itself is considering its own collectables, how can they bring down the hammer on those that already have them with the likes of Socios?
Leeds are among that growing group of clubs to sign on, and given that it is worth seven figures, it is no surprise that Andrea Radrizzani didn’t say no.
Thankfully, after the initial stages of the introduction, Socios and the Whites haven’t been spamming this deal trying to get more investment from fans.
That is when it becomes a real problem, but as for now, we see no issues.
