Leeds set to cut through red tape ahead of Jesse Marsch appointment – David Anderson
Leeds United are trying to push through the “official red tape” ahead of appointing Jesse Marsch, according to David Anderson.
The Mirror journalist reports that the Whites are still looking to appoint the American to replace Marcelo Bielsa today (28 February).
It has been widely reported that Marsch needs a work permit, but given his time in Austria and Germany, it should be accessible.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Anderson dropped the latest regarding Marschs’ potential appointment.
“It is my understanding that Leeds are still working on confirming Jesse Marsch’s appointment as Marcelo Bielsa’s successor today,” he said.
“Marsch has agreed to come and the club are trying to cut through the official red tape that goes with the American’s appointment.”
Red tape.
With the work permit expected to be accepted, there shouldn’t be too many issues moving ahead with this one.
Marsch will no doubt have made his way across to England and will be ready to be unveiled, if not today, tomorrow.
Bielsa can never be replaced after what he has done, but given the severity of our situation, it is time to forget for now and move forward with our new man.
It looks as though Leeds are well on their way to pushing this one through unless something pops up at the last moment.
Marsch has the credentials, and we need results, hopefully, this is sorted soon and he can have a full week of training before travelling to Leicester.
