Leeds hope to have Patrick Bamford & Raphinha fit v Norwich

Leeds United travel to Norwich City on Sunday afternoon knowing that it will be a must-win game in the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa could have a huge boost to his squad too, with numerous injured players close to a return.

Graham Smyth has shared an update on the squad, with Patrick Bamford and Raphinha hopefully available at Carrow Road.

Writing in his latest piece for the Yorkshire Evening Post, Smyth shared the hope from the Whites squad ahead of this weekend.

“The spate of injuries that made a small squad look wafer-thin,” he wrote.

“Leeds hope to have him [Raphinha] available for Sunday’s game. They might even have Patrick Bamford back.

“Put simply, they are a better team with Raphinha and Bamford on the pitch – many Premier League sides would be.”

Everything crossed.

This could be vitally important to Leeds picking up a massive three points at this stage of the season.

One big win could be all it takes to properly kickstart our Premier League season, and there will be no better chance than this one.

Bamford and Raphinha will surely be licking their lips this week watching Norwich’s recent games and the prospect of finding the back of the net.

After conceding seven last week at Chelsea, Daniel Farke will want a response from his squad and Leeds will need to be at their best.

Having Bamford and Raphinha available will definitely help our cause – fingers crossed they are ready.

In other Leeds United news, Sky Sports have hinted if Raphinha will be out for the long-term with his injury problem
