Jesse Marsch shares honest view on Leeds United winger Raphinha
Jesse Marsch has suggested that Raphinha is not distracted by talks about his future ahead of Leeds United clash versus Chelsea.
Raphinha was poor against Arsenal and drew criticisms for his languid body language during the game as the Whites lost 2-1.
Marsch has suggested that Raphinha is absolutely committed to the project and that he is trying his best to help the club avoid relegation.
Marsch said as relayed by Phil Hay on Twitter: “Not at all. I see a person who’s 100% invested in what we’re doing. His emotion, it can be interpreted as a lack of discipline. I look at it as total investment. He wants this club to stay where it belongs.”
Time is over
Raphinha is almost certain to leave Leeds at the end of the season.
Irrespective of league position, the Brazilian is unlikely to stay at the club with Barcelona being reportedly keen to sign him in the summer.
If Leeds go down, Raphinha can depart for half the price.
There have been claims in the Spanish press [Sport] that Raphinha will force his move to Barcelona in the summer, and will try to convince club to lower his asking price.

The left-footed winger has been superb throughout the season, and at times has single-handedly carried the club forward in the absence of Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford.
However, for a player of his ability, he should be playing at a big club, and you simply don’t refuse an offer from Barcelona. It’s his best chance to seal a move to an elite club.
However, his performance against Arsenal was below par. With the club fighting for survival, Marsch needs his key player to step up.
