Jesse Marsch close to Leeds United appointment as lawyers finalise Marcelo Bielsa exit – Fabrizio Romano
Leeds United are close to appointing Jesse Marsch as their new manager at Elland Road, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The reliable journalist has shared that talks are ongoing with the American to takeover from Marcelo Bielsa.
Romano has reported that lawyers are discussing the exit of El Loco, who is set to leave the club after four years in West Yorkshire.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Romano shared the latest news coming from Elland Road.
“Marcelo Bielsa’s set to leave Leeds after poor performances this season,” he wrote. “Lawyers now discussing his exit. Former Leipzig manager Jesse Marsch close to be appointed as new head coach.
“Talks still ongoing between Leeds board and Marsch.”
Here we go.
The new era looks set to begin already.
Andrea Radrizzani and the board, with the 49ers help, no doubt have called out Marsch ahead of the summer and he is being thrown into the deep end.
The former RB Leipzig and Salzburg man wanted a job in the Premier League, and it looks as though he’s going to get it.
If he keeps us out of that bottom three, he will become an instant hero, and that will catapult him into next season with money to spend.
Lawyers are still in talks over Bielsa’s exit, so it looks as though any announcements will be delayed until Sunday at the earliest.
