Exclusive: Paul Robinson believes Leeds will make big transfer announcement in next 48 hours
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United
Paul Robinson believes that Jack Harrison will be announced as a permanent Leeds United signing in the next 48 hours.
He said ‘he would be absolutely amazed’ if that wasn’t the case after an ‘outstanding’ season for the winger.
He added that the price Leeds have agreed with Man City – believed to be £11m – is an absolute steal for a player who showed brilliant form at the start and end of this season.
Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News Robinson said, “I’d be absolutely amazed if we didn’t hear that Jack Harrison has signed a permanent deal in the next 24-48 hours.
“He’s been absolutely fantastic in the final bit of the season. They’ve agreed the price and the deal is already in place. He’s an absolute bargain at £11m.
“He’s been so good he’s being talked about as a future England player.
“I would be absolutely amazed if the deal hasn’t been sanctioned already and I’m expecting it to be announced imminently.”
Harrison ended the season with eight goals and eight assists, his best return in a season yet.
He’s proved that he’s good enough for the Premier League and another pre-season with Marcelo Bielsa should see him kick on again next season.
