‘Wow’, Blinder’, ‘MOTM’ – These Leeds fans blown away by player with big ‘intensity’ v Blackburn
Mateusz Klich has come in for some pretty hefty criticism from Leeds United fans since the season resumed but he finally looked back to his best against Blackburn.
He set the first goal up beautifully for Patrick Bamford before getting the third himself.
In between these was an amazing free kick from Phillips that finally saw a set-piece pay off for Leeds.
The 3-1 scoreline makes it seem easier than it was though. Leeds deserved the win but they were made to work hard for it by an attacking Blackburn side.
Klich was the deserved recipient of praise from the Leeds fans and his is an incredible story after being bombed out of the club on loan shortly after he arrived.
Since his return, though, he’s been an absolute monster of a mainstay for Bielsa.
If he can keep up the good form then Leeds will get a massive boost in their quest for promotion – and the three points were needed today with Brentford brushing aside Wigan at Griffin Park. It means the gap is still six back to Brentford with just five games left. It’s getting closer.
