Leeds United: Daniel Farke has obvious risk to take as hopeful Jayden Bogle update shared for Chelsea
Leeds United boss Daniel Farke hopes that Jayden Bogle will be fit to play against Chelsea, and if he is available, he must start.
The Whites were forced into a halftime change against Bournemouth as the right-wing back made way for Joe Rodon, and the formation was then switched to a back four.
It’s hard to say whether this change had a major effect on Leeds grabbing a result in the end, but it’s most likely that they will revert to the five-at-the-back formation against Chelsea this weekend.
The Blues have just sacked Liam Rosenior, and the Whites will be hoping that Calum McFarlane doesn’t light a spark inside his players for the showdown at Wembley.
Leeds have had multiple injuries this season, and though Bogle’s substitution was a worry, he simply has to start if fit.

Daniel Farke provides Jayden Bogle update
Bogle didn’t have a good performance while he was on the pitch, but supporters will be hoping to see him in action this weekend.
The Englishman has been a constant starter for the Whites this season, and some would say he’s adapted well to life in the Premier League.

Speaking at his Leeds pre-match press conference this Thursday, the Leeds boss confirmed that Bogle’s injury is not too serious.
Farke said: “Yeah, Jayden took a hit to his foot, and it seems not to be too bad. We have to wait to see how quickly he can recover, and I hope to have him available for the game on Sunday.”

Despite the obvious risks of playing someone who could reinjure themselves, no game comes bigger than this now, and Farke must take a chance.
Are Leeds hitting Chelsea at the right time?
Leeds fans will be getting ahead of themselves in thinking that a managerless Chelsea will be an easy pushover, but that’s not exactly the case.
The Blues have a star-studded squad and perhaps the biggest bonus will be that Cole Palmer could possibly be injured for the game.
Regardless, Chelsea have done what needed to be done by getting rid of Rosenior, and that gives them a new chance to be successful.
- McFarlane has been Chelsea’s interim already this season
- He failed to win either of his games in charge
Interim boss McFarlane will say he has pressure on his shoulders but that’s not true, and he will have nothing to lose going into this one.
Farke needs to stay grounded because it’s going to be a difficult game as ever, but it’s still an opportunity that might not come again for a long time.
Either way, the German head coach will still have to manage the minutes of his players well to minimise the risk of further injuries, as Premier League survival is not yet secured.
