Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Bogusz missed the Under-23s’ win against Bolton on Monday due to an injury, according to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Joe Urquhart.
Carlos Corberan’s side won 4-1 against the Trotters’ Under-23s without Bogusz in the centre of their midfield.
When the team news was released before the match, a number of Leeds fans were wondering why the Polish youngster was not involved but Urquhart reported via his personal Twitter account that he is currently suffering from an injury.

Bogusz has been a regular for the Under-23s this season and even made his first-team debut for Leeds in August when he completed 90 minutes in the Carabao Cup defeat to Stoke City.
The Poland Under-21 international has also been named on Marcelo Bielsa’s bench a number of times so he is clearly someone who the Leeds manager rates highly.
Hopefully Bogusz’ injury blow isn’t serious because he is one of the more promising youngsters in the Under-23s squad.
It was not as if they missed him on Monday anyway as they won 4-1 against Bolton’s Under-23s.
Niall Huggins, Liam McCarron, Jordan Stevens and Theo Hudson were all on the scoresheet for Corberan’s young side at Thorp Arch to help bounce back to winning ways after last week’s defeat to Derby.
In other Leeds United news, the Under-23s players have been rated for the win against Bolton.
