Leeds United crashed to a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Brighton in their Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

Neal Maupay scored the only goal of the game after slack play from makeshift central-defender Luke Ayling in the opening 20 minutes.

Marcelo Bielsa has equalled his longest-losing streak once again and is facing questions on his team selections once again with Diego Llorente left on the bench.

Kalvin Phillips was suspended for the defeat, and the midfield suffered massively because of that against a free-flowing Brighton side.

Pascal Struijk was chasing shadows in that crucial role, with Mateusz Klich once again non-existent, something which is becoming a huge problem for the Whites.

There were a number of problems, and Bielsa must use this 10-day rest to get his side back to their free-flowing best before the trip to Newcastle.

Leeds created zero big chances according to SofaScore, and only two shots on target – something which must change sooner rather than later.

We asked our MOT Super Fans who was to blame for the result, and there was a mixture of results in their responses.

Bielsa’s selection made them scratch their heads, with the loss of Phillips clearly a massive talking point after the disappointing display.
