Leeds United Super Fans slam Rodrigo v Liverpool

This is part of a regular series from our panel of Leeds United Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Leeds Insider Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Elland Road

Leeds United crashed to a 3-0 defeat against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

It was an awful afternoon all around, with Marcelo Bielsa simply getting his team selection and substitutes all wrong at Elland Road.

Rodrigo started once again, and the Spaniard couldn’t have looked more out of place when the Whites started their press.

After a shocking opening 45 minutes, Rodrigo was shipped to bring on Tyler Roberts as he continued to struggle.

The Whites fans are starting to lose their patience with the Spaniard, who yesterday didn’t look as fit as Bielsa’s men are supposed to.

It certainly didn’t help when one of our clear-cut chances fell to his feet in the box, only for him to smash the ball directly at Allison.

Rodrigo has shown glimpses since arriving from Valencia, but he has had more than enough time to show some consistency now, but it has never arrived.

We asked our esteemed panel of Super Fans to share their verdict after the substitution, and the response was overwhelming.

The majority simply insisted that Rodrigo wasn’t good enough in this system, with one even suggesting he is now a flop.

Here’s what they said below…
