'Sell as soon as we can' – These Leeds fans react to Phil Hay player update on Twitter

Leeds have almost got a full squad to pick from. Almost.

Long-term injured duo Jamie Shackleton and Tyler Roberts are set to return to the squad next week, although they won’t be in the squad for the game against Fulham on Saturday.

That just leaves Adam Forshaw, who is still struggling with a hip injury.

Forshaw was only meant to miss one game – the clash against Barnsley in September.

He did make a comeback the week after the Derby game and played 45 minutes against Charlton.

However, that aggravated his hip injury and he hasn’t played since.

Marcelo Bielsa said that there was still no date for his return, which is a worrying issue for Leeds.

Leeds have coped without him but Forshaw offers something unique to the side and they missed him when Klavin Phillips was suspended for the game against Huddersfield.

Many Leeds fans are concerned and some joked about whether Forshaw passed away and that Leeds were covering it up.

One fan asked whether anyone had seen him and we can confirm that we did in the last Under-23s game at Thorp Arch.

Forshaw didn’t play but we spotted him training on his own and in the last Under-23s game at Leyland we managed to grab a quick word with physio Rob Price who said, “He’s nearly there”.

That’s positive but he’s been ‘nearly there’ for a long time now.

In the meantime, here are the concerned tweets from Leeds fans, with one saying he should be sold… That seems a bit harsh…
