Phil Hay responds as Leeds fan asks if attacker is ruled out v Fulham amid fresh injury concerns
Marcelo Bielsa will reveal whether Tyler Roberts will miss Leeds United versus Fulham later this week, according to The Athletic journalist Phil Hay.
The former Yorkshire Evening Post journalist was responding to a concerned fan on Twitter after rumours surfaced online that Roberts, 21, will be out of the clash against Fulham at Elland Road this weekend.
It is understood that Roberts did suffer from cramp in the 2-0 defeat to Cardiff but it remains to be seen whether or not the attacking midfielder will be able to play against Fulham.
he was suffering from cramp towards the end of Sunday. Should get an update from Bielsa later in the week

Roberts was in the side against Cardiff due to Pablo Hernandez being injured but as the veteran Spaniard is due to return to training this week, there’s a chance that Roberts was not going to start versus Fulham anyway.
But, if he is going to miss the game and Hernandez is also going to miss out, it leaves Marcelo Bielsa with an unfortunate – yet fixable – problem.
If Roberts and Hernandez are both short of Bielsa’s fitness requirements then we would expect Stuart Dallas to move into the centre of the midfield with Ezgjan Alioski playing at left-back.
It isn’t ideal because Dallas is at his best when he’s on the wing but he’s played in the middle before and it is likely Bielsa would go down that route again.
Hopefully Roberts is fine to play against Fulham but, more than anything, we hope that Hernandez is fit enough to start because Leeds simply aren’t the same without the Spanish magician in their midfield.
Leeds have won just 30 per cent of the Championship matches that Hernandez has missed this season – which says it all about the influential veteran.
In other Leeds United news, Hay has said if this is the real Leeds away kit for next season.
