'Nightmare' - Some Leeds fans slam 'ineffective' player v Sheff Wednesday

Mateusz Klich hasn’t managed to deliver many of the moments that we saw in a Leeds shirt last season in this campaign.

His calm penalty against Barnsley is one of his only real positives so far, but that was instantly forgotten the week after when he rolled one past the post against Derby – a game Leeds went on to draw.

Nothing exactly changed in the 0-0 draw against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. The Polish international was missing for the majority of the game and struggled to get into any meaningful positions.

Klich has achieved a WhoScored average match rating of 6.91 this season, compared to the likes of Pablo Hernandez in similar positions who has been rated at 7.40.

The 29-year-old was clearly much more effective last season and needs to improve. At this current rate, Klich could definitely find himself on the bench in the coming weeks as he simply not doing enough to justify a spot in the side.

Many Leeds fans seemed to agree and took to Twitter to slam Klich for his performance at Hillsborough on Saturday.

One fan even went as far to say that he has been worst than the widely-criticised Patrick Bamford this season.
