Kalvin Phillips tells FIFA new Leeds rating is 'shambles'
Kalvin Phillips has told FIFA that his Leeds United rating in the new game is a “shambles” after a special event on Tuesday.
The Yorkshire Pirlo alongside Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford learned their ratings for the game due to be released in three weeks time.
None of them were happy, with Phillips going up to an 81-rated card after his breakthrough year on the international stage.
Leeds have shared a video on their official Twitter account of Bamford getting in touch with what are said to FIFA representatives.
Phillips is then spotted walking across and letting his feelings known to those who make the decisions.
“Is this the FIFA guy?” he asked, to which the answer was yes.
“My FIFA rating is a shambles.”‘
This is a light way of describing it.
How is Phillips only this rating after one of the best seasons of his career at every single level for club and country?
The Yorkshire Pirlo was named England’s Player of the Year recently and continues to shine in the Premier League, yet he has nothing to show for it.
FIFA appears to have got it wrong with nearly every single player in our squad though, so we wouldn’t take it personally, Kalvin.
It was set up as a huge reveal at Elland Road, and it looks as though EA Sports did not get the reactions they were hoping for with everyone disappointed and questioning it.
Hopefully, these can change at the nearest possible time with special editions and upgrades – but based on our performances recently, that is unlikely.
