Georginio Rutter shows all-time high confidence level after what happened in Leeds United v Watford

Leeds United are finally flying high, and one of the main players in their recent success has been young attacker Georginio Rutter.

There are no doubt a few reasons behind his upturn in form, with the main one perhaps being the club’s overall rise in recent weeks.

But manager Daniel Farke also deserves plenty of credit, with the man in the dugout handing Rutter plenty of responsibility given how he has played almost every minute possible since mid-August.

The arrival of fellow forward Joel Piroe has also taken Rutter’s game to another level, with the player’s confidence undoubtedly at an all-time high since his club record move from Hoffenheim in January.

It perhaps wasn’t hard for the 21-year-old to beat his previous levels of confidence, given how they were seemingly at an all-time low last season.

The attacker failed to live up to his big-money fee in the Premier League, with the drop down to the Championship definitely another factor to his current stability at Elland Road.

Now he is on cloud nine, with his sublime skill against Watford on Saturday (23 September) proving just how confident he is right now.

Dispossessing Watford’s Mileta Rajovic, the Whites ace then pirouetted past Matheus Martins in suburb fashion, as per the official Leeds United Twitter account (24 September).

Such skill was not on show in the top flight last season, with Rutter just one of many Leeds players failing to perform on the big stage.

All connected with the West Yorkshire outfit will be hoping that the player’s dazzling displays can continue in the months to come.

In other Leeds United news, Piroe sent a three-word message to fellow forward Rutter after the club’s 3-0 win against Watford.
