‘Unbelievable’, ‘Immense’ – These Leeds fans thrilled by official club Twitter message

With all football currently suspended in the UK, Leeds United have trawled through their archives to keep the fans entertained.

They delivered a real treat over the weekend – the full footage of the epic 4-3 win over Liverpool from the 2000/01 season.

That’s still up for fans to watch and plenty of them have reacted on Twitter to the classic game.

The game was the absolute high point of Mark Viduka’s time at Leeds.

He scored all four goals for Leeds after Liverpool looked like they were to going to cruise to victory after early goals from Sami Hyypia and Christian Ziege.

Viduka pulled one back in the first half and equalised early on in the second half.

Liverpool re-took the lead, but two quick-fire goals from Viduka gave Leeds a famous win.

If you’ve not seen the game this is the perfect way to spend Monday morning.
