Spotted: Daniel Farke in talks with Archie Gray at first Leeds United training session
Leeds United manager Daniel Farke was spotted in conversation with Archie Gray at his first training session at the club.
The German was appointed as the club’s new manager on a four-year deal on Tuesday (4 July), as confirmed by the official Leeds website.
And he oversaw his first Whites training session on Wednesday (5 July), with Farke joined by his staff members Eddie Riemer, Chris Domogalla and Christopher John.

“Farke was pictured in conversation with right-back Luke Ayling, academy product Archie Gray, attacker Sam Greenwood and club captain Liam Cooper,” according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Time to get going
It’s seemingly been an age since Sam Allardyce left Leeds without a manager after he left the club following their relegation from the Premier League.

Whites fans can be forgiven for worrying about their beloved club as the new season rapidly approaches, but their managerial woes have now been put to rest following the long-term appointment of Farke.
He will be keen to get his new players in the best shape possible, as soon as possible, with the new Championship campaign just around the corner.
There will undoubtedly be plenty of changes to his squad over the coming weeks, with many incomings and outgoings expected at Elland Road this summer.
And one player that will no doubt hope to be a part of the manager’s plans is Gray, despite the 17-year-old having not made a senior Leeds appearance just yet.
His age and lack of experience may result in a loan move next season, but for now he is very much a part of first-team training at Thorp Arch.
In other Leeds United news, one Whites star has told his friends he’s excited to exit Elland Road, with a loan-to-buy on the cards.
