Phil Hay has ‘sneaky’ feeling Raphinha will play for Leeds v Southampton
Phil Hay has shared that he has a “sneaky feeling” that Raphinha will play for Leeds United against Southampton.
The Brazilian superstar finished his first international break in fine fashion, scoring his first two goals for his country in a huge 4-1 win over Uruguay
Raphinha is available to feature on Sautrday but faces a race against time to jet back from South America in time and make it to St Mary’s.

Speaking on the Phil Hay Show this morning, the reliable journalist shared his thoughts ahead of travelling to the clash tomorrow.
“It would be quite the story if he did turn out,” he said.
“I saw Fabinho earlier saying he doesn’t think there’s any chance of him and Allison playing for Liverpool against Watford, but that is an earlier kick-off.
“It’s a leeway of a couple of hours with Raphinha. I’ve got a sneaky feeling he will play as well, I think he just might.”

Everything crossed.
Marcelo Bielsa admitted that if there was a possibility of fatigue causing injury, Raphinha would likely not feature tomorrow.
El Loco will, of course, want his star man available, but will be resting easy knowing that Jack Harrison and Dan James can both star against the Saints.
The summer signing of the Welshman to take the spot of Helder Costa is looking more brilliant with each passing game.
James was sensational against Watford last time out and will take on much more responsibility should Raphinha be missing.
As things stand, there is still hope and should the winger be in the sky returning already, there is every chance he will play.
