‘Needs dropping’, ‘No effort, no energy’ – These Leeds fans slam ‘awful’ player despite 3-0 win
Mateusz Klich had a really poor game for Leeds United against Cardiff last week and fans slammed him again for a lacklustre first 60 minutes against Fulham.
One fan said he needs dropping and that he showed, “No effort, no energy, no care.”
That’s harsh but he was the player we pulled out last week as being desperately poor in Wales.
He was awful again in the first half today but picked up in the second half after the changes made by Marcelo Bielsa.
It was Pablo Hernandez that seemed to calm everyone down and Klich suddenly looked far more like his old self.
He played an amazing ball for Harrison in the lead-up to the second goal and one fan pointed out what had caused the change.

The changes and the two goals in the second half stopped the criticism of Klich – and let’s not take away what was an absolutely massive win for Leeds today – but there were plenty of fans who piled onto the midfielder before that.
And Klich was withdrawn from the game after 80 minutes in the game, replaced by the returning Barry Douglas.
Here are the best reactions to his performance

The win takes Leeds three points clear at the top and eight points clear of Brentford in third. You can almost smell promotion.
