MOT View: Leeds fans can finally start to believe as Radrizzani delivers ‘excellent’ QSI reveal
Andrea Radrizzani confirmed for the first time that Leeds United would take on fresh investment when they were promoted to the Premier League in an interview with Gianluca Di Marzio on Thursday.
The Leeds owner also said that he has an “excellent relationship” with QSI chairman and PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi and that there’s scope for doing work together in football.
The news was welcome on a number of fronts.

Firstly, it will put paid to any more reports about a takeover being close before Leeds are back in the top flight.
Talk of a QSI takeover kicked off again in January, despite Leeds not being able to spend any money because of profit & sustainability levels.
It was said to be close again this week after a report claimed QSI had turned down the offer to buy three Premier League sides to focus on Leeds.
It seems that was a case of making 2+2 = 5. It makes total sense to use that QSI would turn down Premier League sides that are overpriced – Mike Ashley wants between £300m-£350m for Newcastle.

Leeds are a sleeping giant. We might have been sleeping for a long, long time, but the only thing that stands between us and the Premier League now is the Coronavirus.
Once that’s out the way and the 19/20 season is finished, Leeds should secure promotion and at that point we’re sure investment will happen.
That’s still likely to come from QSI after Radrizzani revealed his “excellent” relationship and it means Leeds fans can finally believe about taking a step up to join the big players of the Premier League.
Marcelo Bielsa might be loyal to his players and is likely to give many of them a chance in the Premier League, but Leeds will need to strengthen and Radrizzani has already said that QSI spending can propel Leeds into the same spending bracket as Man City.
We might have to be patient with what’s going on, but this gives fans something concrete to hold onto.
